Financial Review - Depression hits male executives harder in their 50s
According to Clinical Psychologist Paul Flanagan, men seem to be more resilient than women in terms of mental health issues throughout their 30's and 40's but this diminishes with age. Executive males in their 50's was a different case. Although executives on the whole are more hardy than the general population when it comes to stress, anxiety and depression, when they do experience it, it is more severe. Read full article.
